And you make a silent vow,
All the intense emotions start to burn,
And vanish like colours in the pouring rain,
And you stand steadfast with a vow,
A vow not to break,
A vow not to take,
To swallow anger and pain,
Bury them in the deep roots of my soul,
A dormant volcano,
Burning within itself,
But it shall not erupt,
For you have made a mystic vow,
Not just with consciousness,
But with the subconscious of your soul,
Happiness...alas!..consumed in moments,
Illusions of the outside world,
And sadness...never lasts,
Pain cast by a blow of time,
One, two, three all gone,
Happiness, sadness and life,
This illusion of an outside world,
What of your silent vow..now?
My friend how firm...do u stand?
of a vow made in a life that is a bloody reverie??
I don't know when I shall wake,
Or am I awake with a my dream?
Only waiting to wake up into the world??
Again an illusion?
Where does reality stop?
And where does this dream end?
Cast your words into the violent sea of thoughts,
And your vows into a garbage can,
For nothing lasts...nothing.
