The sun has gone to sleep, Curled up like a scared child, Into the silent heart of the night, And the stars watch over, Like a restless father, Awake like the stars, Is the womb of my thoughts, The soul that plays with words, Rises within it, She walks through the alleys of the mind, Collects the mental garbage she can find, And catalogs all speculations, She puts the trash to use, And burns it in a bonfire, At the center of the heart, From the smoke and fog, From amidst the bog, Rises a mystic phoenix, Actually the first organized thought, Totally original, extremely undaunted, A lyrical chant, A verse of words, Some chimes and rhymes with meanings, My passage to the outside world, Nostalgia, dejavu, a stupendous trance, The mystic phoenix continues to dance, Until time gets tired, And the soul has been delivered, And into the arms of reality, Poetry is born!

Wow that was really good. It was very interesting and yet so different. It also had hint of deepness to it. I really enjoyed this good work. |
