It started with a note
A simple email from you to me
Lets hook up you said
See what just might be
We were both already taken
Had our true loves in our life
You were someones husband
I was someones wife
We were happy in most aspects
Yet there was a void to be filled
We both wanted time away to play
And with a kiss the deal we sealed
We met one day for coffee
Seemed such an innocent thing
I said so few words that day
But our time ended with a bang
The things you whispered to me
The feel of your hands upon my skin
This all sent shivers up and down my body
And for the moment I forgot this was a sin
Maybe our time together is wrong
But it feels as if it was meant to be
We respect each others situation
Why can't the world finally see?
What started out as friendship
Soon turned into something more
Is it so wrong to be lovers?
What else is this life for?
