The Love that will Never Be

Contributed by Stephen_Rutherford on Saturday, 27th December 2003 @ 06:20:45 AM in AEST
Topic: ApologyPoetry

For the one who loves me you can never be
the one that i hold dear is laying next to me
I am sorry but you just are not in time
for my heart is not mine
I have already giving it away
I don't know what else to say
Except that you are just a little to late
I guess this is check mate
the turn is over and there left to run
So now it is time for this to be done
To end all of your hopes and dreams
It is the end of this game so it seems
As I walk a way from you because you are just a dream
A dream that is like a nightmare that wont go away
A nightmare that wants to stay
For all I want to do is just simply walk away
Walk aways from this mistake that is in front of me
For this love can and will never be

Nice Write. If only love was Black and White........Well then we would not have such great poems as this. I Live for the grey! Keep up the good work!
