The moons cream yellow rays
Remind me of better days
When you were here with me
And I was happy and free
But those days are long gone now
I try to relive them somehow
Through the places we went
You were a gift heaven sent
When you left I cried
It felt like I had died
Without you life was dull and gray
It feels like forever only started yesterday
The yellow moon is a-glow
And in my heart I now know
You will never love me as I loved you
My love was a dream, its moments were fleeting and few
