What made me think that Theres no way out?
If I stay where I am And live the life Ive always lived, Then my flame, That flame I love Will burn out
I always see smiles I always hear laughter And there I go thinking That its me When in the end, In the end, its all of them
And to my father, Im sorry I never listened To your take on the world Youre right Youre always right At least it seems; But then again, I keep asking myself,
What made me think that Theres no way out?
Ive sat upon a hill of gold Ive laid down on the chills of the streets And still Only do I think, This isnt what Im looking for
Content with nothing that passes my way Expecting to be unsatisfied With every walk of life Every choice Every mistake Ill go for
I burn down the only harmony I own So now Im cold Its cold and dark And I scream I scream at the top of my lungs, But no one even looks up
So, what made me think that Theres no way out?
