From a father came a son A simple day in june To which the earth brought forth rejoice With marigolds in bloom Through the years the trouble came But with it's teacher left Stretched across his mind was knowledge Given to him freely Years went by he took a wife To love and praise and honor With lessons pressed into his mind He lives each day in joy Tucked beside his father's pride His memories he did keep Across the span of several years That great man's lessons held He brought his son up to be a man The best he could have done And as he aged through younger eyes Twas' the victor he became...
