you to hurt me
i was able to get past it
but there was still resentment in my heart
towards yours
so i found an opportunity
to cut you with my words
as you had done to me
i didnt see until it was over
what you had done
you brought me down to your level
the worst place i could be
so youve succeeded in a way
but im better than that
and im able to realize
how quickly i have become just like you
so i get off my hands and knees
and stand proud as i walk away
i have no room for vengefulness
for ignorance and pride
so its completely over now
im able to set you free
too bad your cold heart and blindness
would not let you see
the pain you put people through
but im not worried
karmas a *****
it will all come back to you
i jus want you to know this
if nothing else
theres nothing i regret more in my life
than letting you get to me
for bringing me down
as low as i could go
but i also thank you
what doesnt kill me
makes me stronger
you wont believe
how much stronger ive become
