Ive created
a void
slowly, I built it
brick by dirt-brick
Ive been taking
down reality
piece by piece
for some time
erecting a mighty wall
of nothingness
around me
but, oh poets of the world,
I didnt build a door,
or window.
I was meticulous,
and didnt leave a crack
for my escape.
So now,
my own non-existence,
the unreality of what Im not,
fills, crowds, suffocates
this prison
I built so well.
My nothingness
is safely fortified
inside the void.
And so, the army,
or passage of time,
or elements
that will bring down
my walls,
will come to find
nothing.
For, only I am inside,
and the void has overcome me.
I have unbuilt
my reality,
so I could build my void.
