I always have my best at heart
I always fail and fall apart
My heart deals with self-pity and sadness
My mind deals with insanity complete madness
I try so hard for that "perfect life"
Somehow always left standing alone and loosing this fight
So bad I want to cut out this pain
In hopes of a few moments of feeling no blame
So many ones I love I have failed
So many times my train of life has de-railed
Why can't I grasp reality
Why does failure follow me
A black cloud above my head
Too many thing left undone, unsaid
Too many mistakes lead me to darkness
Leaving me once again alone, battered, beaten and broken-hearted

You have talent and your words are smoothly written. We all fail and most of us do it quite a bit. It is no fun but its a part of life. In your poem you expressed that so well. I hope you find strength in your own words they were soul touching.

After reading you poem, which I thought was excellent, please allow an old lady friend to tell you why you feel you fail!
Whatever you tell your mind you are going to do..........that's exactly what you do. If you think you have a black cloud hovering above you......then nothing will be sunshine....but if you tell yourself, without judging, and being so hard on You...that no matter how this turns out, I've done my very level best, then that's exactly what you do, and then You will be satisfied with You!
You must stop being so hard on you!!!
I think you are doing great!!!Keep up the good work!
