The raindrops drum a beat,
A different beat onto you heart,
Mingling with your breath,
And make sweet music....
Like the season was casting a trance,
And your soul inside wanted to dance,
And you wanted to touch the face of love,
With your finger tips,
As the distances grew,
You knew...inside your heart,
It would only make you closer to a dream...
It would only make me closer to a dream,
And as the wind blows....
You look outside....
Its just another rainy day in London,
Yet...you know you are staring at something more than just a screen...
You know you are reading something more than just a mere composition in prose and poetry....
Its as if a mix of mist and light had surrounded your body...
And the drum beats get louder and louder
And the rain pours down on your consciousness
You caress the sense of being that you feel inside...
Distances...yet this closeness
And to every one else its just another rainy day in London.
