Captive Of My Own World

Contributed by Lord-Fatal on Sunday, 4th January 2004 @ 10:38:06 PM in AEST
Topic: EmotionalPoetry

My life is full of struggle and tough circumstances/
So what do I do? Swallow it up and take chances/
Only glances, at what i could be/
In constant search of whats meant for me/
Im in an emotional-trans, sudden magic, such as clerics/
And i find half my peace in the construction of these lyrics/
If i wake up tomorrow, with nothing but a dime/
I capture the essence of struggle in the make up of my rhyme/
Love can be tossed around in any direction/
Built up by affection yet destroyed by neglection/
So im sure to strap my heart with a bullet-proof vest/
Unstoppable will-power, the fuel of knowledge, easily the best/
I see a drink of opportunity i must be sure not to just sip/
And you must learn, those who dont take risks, will dip
