I am so old, Just eighteen, Yet there's so little, That I haven't seen, I know you have hours, You could've leant To hear it all now, But to know what it meant, Would take years. To dry all the tears, Milleniums to banish, Dark creeping fears, That climb through My window, Into my bed, And entangle themselves In my poor aching head. I am so old, Just eighteen, I've been in your head, I've seen your dream. But i realise now, I'm always alone, My fears always stop me, Having dreams of my own.
