Tale of Two Rapes

Topic: DarkPoetry

My hair flowed beyond my waist.
My lips were the essence of an innocent taste.

I was 7yrs old the first time I was "hurt",
I could feel his rough hands beneath my shirt.

"I'll show you mine if you show me yours!",
"What are you doing, you're hurting me, you're my neighbour, you live next door!"
"Oh don't worry it will be over quick, soon you'll see you'll come back for more!"

He was so strong and I fell hard to the floor. In my eyes I'm a pathetic wh***.

Hot breath upon my neck he'd breath, as I stuggled and kicked just to be free.
I left that night afraid for my life, ever since then my best friend is my knife.

For years I forgot of that distant day,
casting it back in my mind far far away.
Until one day a single hug brought it back with a kick and a thug.
"I HATE YOU!" I'd say to all my friends, never allowing someone to know, never allowing a hurt to mend.

I forgave but never forgot but somhow allowing my relationships to get HOT!

Until one day, alone I went,
Just for a walk down to a friends.
Then I saw him and he saw me.
I should've known,
I should've tried to flee.

He grabbed me and hit me,
Why was I so dumb!
"You stupid wh***!"
Why could'nt you see?

His cold hand carresed my breasts, pressing down hard upon my pounding chest.
I had dirt on my back, he lay on me hard his face dark black.

I don't know how I it happened but I fought free, but I'll never have joy or let someone love me. I've learnt my lesson for eternity!

I'm sorry world, yours lovingly
MissTea

words can not even express what I felt reading your words....you are not a wh*** in any way...no one has the right to violate another...seek help free yourself from this darkness...there are those who have been where you are and found a way out....you can also

I'm flattered to be the inspiration of such an amazing full out write. These things happen because the world we live in allows it to happen. And we feel this way because society tells us we are whores, but were not, were people who lost our innocence to the hands of people sick. I'm a guy, so if I told anyone what happened to me, they would think I'm gay, because that is what this society is like. Great write, bringing out these kind of emotions is hard, but in the long run, its the only way to truley help us out of the hell that was caused by the people who did this to us. I'm truley awed by your strength in writing this poem, and I wish you luck, and many more good poems.
