smack down,
learning how,
to pow,
without,
being knocked,
down to the ground,
poeple all around,
cheering 'til,
the sound,
swirls round,
and round,
walking out,
is out of bounds,
peoples faces,
turn to laughing,
clowns,
feeling your thoughts,
dig,
deep,
amoungst their frowns,
POW!
POW!
hit the,
ground,
flip up,
spinning round,
your blood dripping,
all around,
brain flipping,
counting down,
fist swinging,
people liping,
you hit,
they DROP!!
DOWN TO THE GROUND!!

and just to let you know.
(sorry if it appears that i'm boasting i'm just so happy to hear the good news!)
i sent this poem in to young writers poetry competition and won a certificate for my work, they said that it is only for 11-18 year olds in the u.k. but they got about 40,000 entries, and they really liked this one,but if you do hate this poem, just say, i won't be offended, if that's what you think! |
