today i learned a lesson
never will i make that mistake
tomorrow i hope to glisten
and pray for heavens sake
i really have nothing left to say
but to separate and go on my own way
together again we may be
but again ill say maybe someday
feelings will seem familiar
it might make you wanna cry
you might seem rather peculiar
so this is the feeling of what it is like to die
to wonder which ways heaven
so please forgive me when i cry
i never learned what it was to die
people used to always tell me ...
its all one big lie
right now im glad i chose not to listen
i always took into consideration
and never fell to all the intimidation
still tomorrow i hope to glisten
never will i get a chance to make that mistake
because today i can say i learned a lesson
that everything should be for heavens sake
