Dislike Me

Contributed by alecfernadez on Wednesday, 7th January 2004 @ 10:35:41 AM in AEST
Topic: DarkPoetry

Look at me now
Baggy and torn
Look at me now
Unshaven fool
Look at me now
Listening to Korn
Look at me now
Cuts everywhere
Look at me now
Reject of Society
Look at me now
Unaccepted by you
Look at me now
Opposite of conformity
Look at me now
Life is on fire
Look at me now
Rebel without a cause
Look at me now
This look will never tire
Look at me now
Evil to the bone
Look at me now
Hated by everyone
Look at me now
With that sarcastic tone
Now stop
Look into my eyes and tell me
Why you cant see this dead
tired nine year old boy
Just waiting to be free
from this cage of opression
Anger, and malice
This cage choking him, killing him
This cage regarded as a sin
A sin that was not caused by him
A sin caused by someone else
And that little boy who wants to be free
Torn, hurt, and disgared
Hated by everyone because of what happened
That little boy
Is me

Well I am sure if I knew you I would not dislike you, I have been given crap about the way I look to all my life though mine is more of the "you're ugly" type comments..good luck hon.

If u truly cared how u looked and how people didn't like u then u would change wouldn't you? Everyone has had a bad childhood in some way! Most have had it worse then alot of people and u may have had it worse then me but eveyone that has had a bad childhood has to put that in the past becasue u can't change it! Only forget the people that are in it and try to make ur life better!

This poem was really good and I just had to say that! I really hope that one day u will be accepted. Alot of people are afraid of difference! My best friend sounds like he is like you! Somewhere in this world there are people just like u that u will find and never leave them again! Ur time will come! For now...forget those people that don't like u because u are better then them because u are a poet and poets are like the best cult gathering there is! WE live by our own words and lives and no one can take that away from me. They can lose their pretty cars and expensive houses and their looks but poets writings will last forever and our talent may fade but our works will always be read!

Love:::Kirby
