Why do they pretend?
Why do they lie?
Why do they find it fun,
To turn away which makes me cry?
They honestly don't care for you,
They're just nosey.
Of your feelings, your thoughts,
They are not worthy.
To you they're friends.
Well sorry to break it to you...
Don't you think if they really were,
They'd stay true?
Yeah.
They'd always be there;
They wouldn't judge;
They'd be fair.
They'd not laugh;
They would understand;
They'd not bash.
They'd respect;
They would support you;
They'd realize you're not perfect.
These people I know,
That I call "friends,"
They really don't care.
They're too caught up in their own business.
They don't really care.
Right down to it all,
They're plain old nosey.
