The vampire's cry

Contributed by Necromant on Saturday, 10th January 2004 @ 11:01:51 AM in AEST
Topic: DarkPoetry

Resurrecting from the grave every night, was once my greatest delight,
Now after centuries of endless life, for my destruction I strive,
Eating,
Feeling,
Breathing,
Things that you do, that make me envious for you

The hunger for your blood is my only source of desire,
And trough your throat it pours in form of liquid fire,
I give you a gentle caress and, as I drink your life I possess,
And when in my arms you die, everyone will hear my cry

Help me Im begging on my knees, give my soul some release,
For I cant continue hating, for you Ill be waiting,
To bring an end to my eternal existence, I will not oppose any resistance

Simply beautiful =)
Very powerful and emotive, much like the works of Anne Rice.
Thanks for sharing.
