You're just a little too late
How long did you think I would wait
After all the chances I gave
The consequence's for me were grave
Now that I'm out of the haze
You're ready to change all your ways
For once I don't want the bait
Your changes would be a little too late
Now you hopelessly try to cling
You act as though I owe you something
You're not my responsibility
The only obligation I have is to me
I've been waiting long enough
And if you're not ready that's tough
Your words now only exasperate
All of it comes just a little too late
