How Much For Your Love

Contributed by EmSal on Sunday, 11th January 2004 @ 01:22:12 AM in AEST
Topic: SadPoetry

All those times I cried for you,
I know, I know I wasted my time.
And all those times I thought I knew,
But I was never, no never on your mind.

All those years of silence I went through,
How the violence scarred my mind,
But there was still a feeling left to find,
It was the power, the love and the hurt for you.

All those times you would turn your face from me,
It made me, it made me so confused.
My love was too strong for me to be free,
But my heart was falling apart, bloodied, abused.

Numb, I became numb, and I laughed at my face,
As I scratched my nails down its skin,
Making the outside too look like a disgrace.
I laughed and laughed at myself for him.

Leaving just a note, a note for you to read,
As the last of my saviours has left too, dear,
If you just know, know that youre my hearts need,
Could, oh could you spare me at least one tear?
