If one day you should leave
Would be the day I couldnt breath
Cause this little tortured soul
Without you can't be whole
I walk alone, I talk you seem deaf
The day you leave I take my last breath
How long can this soul keep giving
If now this soul is scared of living
My love for you will slowly have no part
Or no space or time within your heart
This tear is the last tear I will cry
So my tortured soul can say goodbye
Lay my soul, my head to rest
I know that it will be for the best
So don't hold back and let me go
I will do it when you don't know
And when you turn and see my grave
See all the love I could have gave
You will see my heart was only true
And full of love just for you
I can't help the way I feel
Or if I think your love's not real
Please don't hurt me any more
If you don't want me close the door
This little tortured soul can't take
Any more of this heartbreak.

| First off... forget when anyone tells you about not writting these kinds of poems... they are probably more important then any other type... because if you can get the pain out this way then its out and the hate and anger will start to subside. Second off... I really like this one, probably because i can relate to it, and quite recentlly too. Please take a moment and read ugly in my archive when you get the chance... i just posted it, wrote it last night about pretty much the same thing. peace be with you. -jason |
