I'm lost it finds me
I'm uptight it unwinds me
Picks me up and holds me
Is me when I can't be
It hits me so hard it holds me together
I'm falling apart sucked into a blender
It stops me from tumbling into the abyss
Profound recognition The perfect fit
No matter my size,a melody carried me
A lyric took root and then recomposed me
Soothed me and grooved me
Moved and abused me
Accused and confused me
And saved me
A million times over
My head under covers
The present in tatters
The future flies by
Til some jagged chord
Strikes a pose
Gets in my blood
And proves to be the antidote

| Wow we think alot a like, I'm not a poet or anything but this is one of the best poems I've read so far on this site. No matter what your going though theirs always a song that you can relate too. |
