I'm tired of loving the wrong men.
Of believing they'll change,
and that they do care.
I'm tired of pretending I'm okay.
That I'm not in pain,
and that I'm swallowing my tears within me.
I'm tired of smiling when I'm really dieing inside.
Knowing my time is coming near,
and my son will be alone in fear.
I'm tired of playing stupid.
When I know the answer,
and I just tell you what you want to hear.
I'm tired of being alone.
Knowing your only with me because I say I love you,
and know in all reality I do mean it.
I'm tired of crying myself to sleep at night.
Knowing I'm a single mother because my husband left me,
and I know your only with me because you pity me.
I'm tired!
