The relationship between us
Is as strange as can be
Love one day; ignoring the next
Things are pretty confusing!
You say that you love me
But are that really true?
I don't know why you'd lie
So I hope you know I love you too
You and me, oh how I wish
We could be like a year before
When we were happy and said
We'd be together forever more
But now it's hard to tell
What's going on inside
If we're still in love, what's wrong?
Open your arms for me wide
Embrace me and love me
And let's show each other we care
Listen to what I say
Because my feelings I'll share
You are my one and only
I hope that you can see
It's tearing me apart to talk
When I know there's no you and me
I wish we could have
A very last chance to try again
Just in case some things have changed
And it would be better than back then
Because I just have a feeling
That we can't just be friends
I'm too much in love with you
And I can't get that to end.
Maybe you love me or maybe you don't
Maybe I'm making no sense
Maybe I'm only just wasting your time
Or maybe I'm rather dense
But I love you and you've said it too
And I don't see what would be wrong
If we tried things out, just once again
Since we've been in love all along...
