I had a dream last night
In my deepest sleep
Lost in a world of illusions
Manifest in substance
Like viewing life
Through a mirror,
Backwards and intertwined.
I dreamt that all life
Was a single lotus flower,
Her petals in full bloom
Exposing nature's womb
Pollinated with the passions
Of human kind,
The mortal beast.
Beyond this flower
Flowed a gold river,
That shone with the clarity
Of untamed wisdom
Raging,
With the intention of the wind.
This is the river
From which all knowledge comes forth.
Then the sun and the moon
Emerged and intertwined
Creating a magnificent light
And all the universe was exposed
In its most naked form.
She revealed to me-
The world is just a shell,
With millions of universes
Overlapping one another
In a cosmic dance.
She is the mother,
She is the whore.
She is the keeper of peace,
She is the matron of war.
I am her child,
Daughter of the whore
I find peace
Along the path to war
Where I fight for my sister's strength,
Streched beyond the length
Of my arm's reach.
Yet still I reach,
Still I reach.....
