Another silly moment along lifes path
Another possible reason for wrath
Why do you do these things?
What darkened soul sings?
Within that confused heart
Why do you always play the part?
Another drink another night
Numbness and darkness dont make right
We all feel that hole within our soul
That eats away at you black as coal
You learn to ignore that pull most of the time
As you travel on seemingly whithout reason or rhyme
But we all slip from time to time
Forays into the darkness they are points in time
All making you what you are and will be
As do all the many differing things you see
Life is a trip along a long road
Upon which we bear a heavy load
How we react to the road blocks and shocks
And what we learn from the many docks
Determines our view an our destiny
And our opinion of this twisted reality
