So little boy You went off trying to be a man, But got yourself shot in the head, instead Hope it was worth what was under her skirt, Because her lips can't kiss you anymore. So what good was all that loving for If you can't taste her lips anymore? Little boy trying to be a man Got himself shot instead Over a girl and a good time Doin' shots of tequila and lime. What good was all that fun for, If you are'nt living anymore? So little boy, How does it feel to finally be a man? Nestled in your cold coffin Deep beneath the ground Silenced by that bullet, I can almost hear the sound As it echoed through the halls Spilling your blood All over the walls On her new white dress And pretty face. Little boy you've created such a mess 'Cause now your mamma's bought A new black dress All because you went off trying to be a man But got yourself shot in the head instead.
