Some girls smile,
Hands folded in their lap
All the while, inside
They shout and scream
Wanting to be me-
Dented posture,
Mouth open and free
Because I dare to be me!
I am not afraid to laugh
Or act out loud
When I speak my mind, I am proud-
Proud that I have something to say!
Some girls walk in perfect manner
Head held high,
Nose pointed to the sky
Their hips sway and taunt
' I am too good for you ',
You know,
Those girls boys always want-
Slender,Starved
Boring like sleep,
Angels in bed
Nothing but cobwebs
Inside their heads.
They all say,
'Such a pretty girl',
'Such a nice girl',
Poised and sweet,
All lace and pearls...
Some girls are naughty,
Some girls are nice,
Some girls are sugar,
Some girls are spice
But there is no girl like me
A earth goddess filled with fire,
Awake and free,
What some girls wish to be
A real women just like me...
And little boys just pass on by
Too scared to give a real women a try.
