the stars twinkle above
and my heart takes a gentle shove
with each and every moment
my soul and spirit you tempt
i sleep at night and see a life
with you and everything is right
i see you in my dreams at night
if only you were here in sight
the love i have is real
but no one here for it to feel
nothing more than thoughts
each morning i am tempest tossed
and my dreams are crushed again
i am up and my day starts then
