Hope in ignorance

Contributed by alecfernadez on Friday, 16th January 2004 @ 01:28:40 PM in AEST
Topic: DarkPoetry

A collection of thoughts in my head,
Battering my conscience not making sense,
Emotionless, counting time,
This sickness is so sublime,
Devouring all my emotions,
Always going through the motions,
Of losing an form of sanity,
Slipping away so blissfully...
I bleed

Every shock I ever feel,
Just doesnt seem so real,
All it ever does,
Without any fuss,
Is go over and under me,
Hidden so you cant see...
me

Finding hope in ignorance,
Hating my only defence,
Your words still haunt,
My conscience still taunts,
Cant take this reality,
Because I'm wishing vanity,
So take my skin away
and watch me burn as I lay
Alive

Well it is not your best one. It is still pretty good though. It almost seems to lack the emotion that your other writes seem to convey. I'm not sure. Maybe you wheren't into it when you wrote it. It's still worded very well and everything. It's just you know. Still a good write though man.
