A shot rings out across a lonely square Towards a baleful downtrodden man The bullet flies towards some sons fathers head To fill people with intolerable terror and dread.
To force them to stand up for what they believe Because the cause of world peace was used to deceive For oil, the commandments of capitalism and lies A people were invaded and soldiers are sent off to die
And the small hands that squeezed a small trigger That shot a small bullet into the head of some sons father, Drop the gun and small feet run As the peacekeepers see some mothers son And shots ring out across a lonely square

I'm so sorry for your loss. Every time I see our soilders dieing no matter where they r from it makes me wonna cry.
I do support all our soilders and I jus hope there r many over there that appreciate what our soilders from all over and their families and friends give up so they can be free.
this poem is well written and I'm sure he's read it as he's an angel now.
Thanks for sharing this and thanks so much for your sweet comment on my work.
