In Search Of My Love

Contributed by wachumiri on Saturday, 17th January 2004 @ 01:50:03 PM in AEST
Topic: LovePoetry

My heart it flies
Away from me
In search of my love
Across the sea

For it is life
That took me from her
Though some day I'll go back
I know for sure

There must be a reason
To love so deep
For my soul to mourn
My heart to weep

She is the one,
She gave life to this pen
And for her these words
From my heart burst open

And so I desire
To be with my love
My heavenly gem
My rose from Above

I really liked that last stanza. I just like the wording a helluva lot. Very nice write. Like I said before I hope you find a new muse man, or at least maybe she will come back....

What an intense love you have for her. I guess we should all be glad she inspired your writing...

This is beautiful, as the one who inspired it must also be.
