i have long been a prisoner in my own deceits
i only had eyes for pleasurous pain
like a poor soul wandering for another
i sparked a greed for all that was seen
i was lost in the shadows
i was tempted by everything
which tediuosly tempts
then i saw you
when you then met my gaze
the harshness of my past
began floating away
i was at last free
yet embraced by your arms
i was at last free
yet enslaved by your charms
i was of course afraid, and thought of you as lust...i tried pushing you away...
thinking you to harm me
just like everybody else
now i am sorry
i ask for forgiveness
i ask for trust
please, never leave me..
alone in the shadow of my own mistakes.
