Oh please don't give up a_bear
Your cause is strong and true
Ok, we don't want to bore people
But surely there's something we can do
I know nothing's really changed yet
In fact I think it's getting worse
Why don't people comment?
When I'm sure they enjoyed our verse
But maybe a step back would be better
I know I don't like being told what to do
So like one poet said let's be grateful
At least we're getting read, that's true
It still bothers me when there's no comments
I feel I'm not worthy of them
I'm sure that that's not the case though
I will continue to write my poems.

| exactly what redwest802 said. You write for yourself not for others, well I do, its mainly escapism. But yes people should comment, it makes us all feel better knowing that someone appreciates our poetry. |
