If big fish fry
It'll make us cry
For a moment at least
Until the tears are dried
By the wonders of cold air
Long live the square
I hold the yellow picture
Dramatized faces on a stoop
That photo isn't faded now
And it will never be
Because friendships never get old
They just get better
A few silly poses frozen in time
On the side of the road
On Broadway...in Ocala
No dark, ghastly alleyways
To make us go astray
No being too much or not enough
We just don't see it that way
By the wonders of what's here and ours
Long live the square
