There are many things I will never know And through the cries of the crow I cannot help but see A yellow sunset upon the sea Peeping from a crack in the ancient stones I feel a chill going through my bones I have always wished to be far away Now I wish to be home today Yet some unseen power is keeping me here And through my head swirls dread and fear Now I wish to be home today And not somewhere else far away As I dream upon the midnight air The sands of time whisp through my hair But my body ages like all the rest And the only remnant of youth I left Is the heart that beats in my chest I only wish to be Residing where I can simply be me Once ages, upon ages ago There was a feeling of happiness I used to know And hearing once more the cries of the crow I wish to be home with the ground covered in snow As my radio plays Mozart's last concerto
