why do you do this
look me in the eye
and tell me
everything's gonna be alright
but some how when you do
i end up crying all over you
then you cup my face in your hands
and whisper
everything's gonna be alright
till the end
but when is this end
people always say
is it when the love dies
or is it when we do
i'm so confused
when i ask you
you just say
everything's gonna be okay
i don't know if i can trust you
do you really know
i worry over everything
but the only thing that calms me down
is you whispering
everything's gonna be okay
