I've seen this puzzle countless times Yet I never seem to remember Where the pieces go Still I walk this road Unaware of my destination With aching memories at my feet My soul is growing weary It seems that the sun is always setting While my strained smile fades a little And i begin to realize I am destined to a life of wandering In search of the missing pieces

I absolutely love that title...well, and I love the entire poem. I love it when a poet can say so much, so powerfully, in such a short write. Even though this seems a bit forlorn just remember a lot of interesting and awesome things can happen while "wandering" through life. I sure am happy that you wandered back to YPDC and I have come to know you. Thank you for your kindness, thoughtfulness, and being you. Thank you for wandering a bit over this way. :-)
Take care and thank you for writing poetry that I can enjoy.
Tim
(who is quite thankful right about now) |
