Why do you follow?
Invisible, unheard
You are naked to their eyes
But not to mine
And shadows unmove me
But your voice speaks out loud
And I see you mind, uneasy
Unsure, afraid
Tell me why you hide?
Behind the fading mask
Teach me to understand you
And your decisive ways
It makes me so angry
How you pretend to be happy
One minute by my side
The next, their servant
Stop trying to hide
Stop all your lies
Stop the following
And just be yourself
I watch you from this chair
And I hear your thoughts-
Disturbed, unhappy
Hiding from the truth
Yet you seem to forget
One person here understands
A person known well
Someone to call a friend
