You name it,
I've seen it.
Everything.
I've seen things
At my age
you should not see.
I've seen
people shot
I've seen
them stabbed.
I've seen people die
with no one
to hold them.
I did what I could.
When it meant I
woud not be killed as well.
I've see people smoke
I've seen people shoot.
Even pop pills.
Most would say
I've seen the
darker side of life.
But I
just dont know.
I learned so much.
From the driveby's,
I learned
to turn and to run.
From the stabbings,
I learned
To be on your guard.
From the smoking
I learned
To never start.
From the shooting
I learned
to despise needles.
From the pills
I learned
To watch what you eat.
So it all
comes to just
a few short lines.
Never fight
be nice
And dont do drugs
Be careful
Watch your food
and your drink.
Because people are
a murderous race.
always killing.
Just in cold blood
No reason at all.
Just because.
