Tears for Faith

You can cry for all you had
You can cry for all you lost
You can cry for all your worth
But your crying has a cost
A price that cant be paid in silver or gold
A realization as shocking as the freezing cold

It comes to pass
Youve lost your last
Looking back
You move too fast
Too fast to notice the blood and tears you shed
Mind too slow to realize that the body is already dead

So cradle that baby
The one you call Faith
Hold onto your dreams
As you drift like a wraith
Hold her close to your bosom dear
This child, paid for by your every tear

Sorrow has plagued you through this life
Your dear morning child
Resting peacefully in your arms
She will be just like her mom; sweet and wild
She is the reason to live; the will to keep going
Her bright face with holy light glowing
