A Narcisst Nation?
Well, it looks that way
Though it's just half true
For I have met some beauties
More than 50% of you
A Narcisst Nation?
Hey, thats not even a word!
A total generalisation
Is truly just absurd
I know the ones Ive met
Have been the greatest people and yet
When a nation hugs itself
And steals a whole worlds wealth?
Thats what I call
a Narcisst Nation
That takes much more
than its own true ration
The 50%+ who are truly bright
Have a feel
For what is right
They care enough to really think
Not just consume
But make the link
Between what is American need
And what is simply American greed
They see the environment is not eternal
That endless consuming brings a scene infernal
They are truly the best I have known
Beautiful Americans - kind and warm
They have a depth deep in their soul
And a caring nature with selfless goal
To really look and see whats there
To try each day to do whats fair
Not simply a native of a greedy land
But a global vision to understand
And the other half of this coin?
The loud mouths with closed mind
The ones who feel not think
Whod rather stay sure and blind?
Well, what can we say?
We hear from them day on day
Their stupid selfish shout:
Our way, our way, our way!
Petty nationalists, bigots and ugly souls
Too stupid to know theyre doomed
Eat up the resource of a thousand years
Our planet by them consumed
These narcissts are truly selfish souls
Thinking only Americans count
Trapped in narrow minds so bitter and cold
The casualties abroad will mount
So, its up to the spirits who truly care
To show Americas truly great side
To build a society that shines so bright
They are American. And with pride!
