A Rose For You

My heart is drenched in a sea of tears
From all those painful years
Last year will be on my mind forever
But as we go through this life together
I would like to say
Thank you for helping me yesterday
You are all so beautiful and kind
I am at ease in my mind
For the while being
But I hope to be seeing
A better day on the morrow
I will not take my life today or tomorrow
Do not worry I am here
Though my heart sheds many a tear
I am thankful for all of you
And I would like to
Give a Rose to all of you
For what you the other day did do
I am not this earth leaving
But for my life I am grieving
For the only place I like being is here
For my poetry is to my heart near
And friendship with all of you grows
And stems from my heart like a rose
But little do you see
There are two roses that grow inside of me
One is red, for my life has some joyous times
occasionally
One is black, from a wasted love
I thank you all gratefully
But he will never look at me from where he stands up above
Thank you for your help it is most appreciated
But I have long debated
Whether I am worth being on this Earth
For the times are few that bring mirth
Thank you all again
Even though I am in pain
I am thankful I have all of you
And I give this rose to you

| Don't need to thanks me, all I want to see is you smile again, it is only a pity that there are not much I could do, or is it?? If you want, you can tell me about it......... I know one would always go through some hard times in the life, even me, I was considered suicide myself at one point! But I did not give up that easily, and hey! You see here I am, try to smile and offer you my helping hand! So, take good care of that red rose and let it bloom, and let the black one wither....... |

I agree with all that has been said, the only real thanks we want is for us to see your poems on this site, that way we know you're still fighting. I noticed a few positive thoughts in this poem, a good sign, take one day at a time and if you feel you are slipping let one of us know so that we can pull you back up, ok?
I think you are very brave just to ask for help, wish there were more like you !
