A lesson learned

Contributed by parisstcair on Thursday, 22nd January 2004 @ 04:52:18 PM in AEST
Topic: EmotionalPoetry

At first my heart was broken.
How would it ever mend again?
After all the lonely cries I made.
The painful sleep that I engaged.
Everyone saying "Paris it's going to be okay."
It took awhile to get over you.
I should've never opened up to you.
You stole my hopes,my dreams,my ever wanting to succeed.
Many times I cried out.
I hate you!
I really truly HATE you!
I learned a lesson from my mistakes.
Just because someone says they love you it's all just sweet talk.
Just because we are broken up doesn't mean I will forget about you.
I just have to move on,and find someone new.
