For you Hope
My pen in hand I hold
Ill start to write
Just to tell you its all right
Just want to say
Youre a great gift of God
An example are you
Of what Gods touch can do
He has healed your heart
Behind His back Hes put your past
He says My child, Ill dry your tears
My love will drown out all your fears.
A tribute to the times
Curled in a corner crying
I write this for I feel a tug
Telling me you need a hug
If you need to laugh, Ill laugh with you
If you need to cry, Ill do that too
And Ill be your friend, 'till life is through

This is sweet. It also makes me want to remind myself that God is also there for us when we need a friend, and no one else is there. We are never alone, though often times it feels that way.
