Your words move like honey-
Thick and slow.
I get lost in their undertow
I am sinking below.
Your love was just a glimpse
A reflection of the unattainable
A feeling unexplainable...

You are my phantom lover
My cassanova undercover...

A sweet wish I once made
Only to wither and fade
Into night, Reflect'd day
Absent the light....

You are my phamtom lover,
My cassanova undercover....

You are the glow
A thousand diamonds in the sun
Brilliant,
As love is fun.
Still, we wander back and forth
Our skin edging against one another-
It is you my heart craves,
No other...

You are my phantom lover,
My cassanova undercover...

Like a rose entangled
By its own thorns, so too
My heart is weary and worn
By loves bittersweet kiss
And unkempt bliss.
You are the ache in my heart
The tremble in my soul-
The love I have yet to discover...

My cassanova undercover....
