Just feelings

Contributed by Patch81 on Tuesday, 3rd September 2002 @ 06:22:05 AM in AEST
Topic: Lifepoems

A man with no life begs for something
Not knowing where his life has gone
But no where he see's
Is something more worth than his life,

With nothing to lose nor gain
From his life he once had
Will carry his emotion's toward a new day
Still with nothing in his life

Was it once love he knew
Or a lost loved one he once loved
But anything else he grew so cold about
Cost it his life, his pride, his heart to wilter

For this one man the only man he knew
Had a life of happiness with his own life
Even if his expressions never showed
But he once had something to fight for

Not now nor anytime in the distant future
Will his pride be rewarded with the feeling's
The feeling's he once carried for anything
That had meant truth and love in his heart

Distant he carries himself from all
As though he had hidden in a dark corner
But only in his own prisoned mind
Which he had made from his hurt and sorrow,

I was turning like this man
With love and happiness in my heart
For my certain lady i had loved so dearly
And she had made my mind flourish with love

But as i also see myself be torn apart
From my own hurt that I had placed myself in
By myself to hurt for my own fault's is only my punishment
And i must live with my own faults i had made

For that one storie he had told
Made me know that i was only one man
To give only one heart away
To that one special ladie of mine

But if my own mind had not clouded my thought's
Of how i wished love would be in my own life
I would still have that loved one
That i once wished to have

The myth, the storie he had imprinted in my mind
Made me see that my fault's was like every other man
Who was once a kind and gentle as me
But let love and hatred cover my heart and turned me astray.
