THE WEIGHT OF THE WORLD ON MY SHOULDAR
Nov 11, 03 2:45 pm
I wake up and relize where I'm at and look around at the things I don't want to see anymore my breath shorter like a fish on dry land and the urges to cry comes.
Dreaming of the things I will never get to be or accomplish Never to be love by a man Never a Love of a father who I see everyday with my tearful eye
I realize that I'm 21 yrs old and don't even have a small goal to show for it
How I sit on the side line while he is the saver of the family, how he the prodigy
I drag my feet more and everyday as I look and see the weight of the world on my shouldar pushing me down the sidewalk becoming quicksand
and I'm sinking and realize the weight of the world have a familar face I once called them mom and dad
