I see my whole life in your eyes, The story of my age across the skies; Of your magnus existence, I see my charming insouciance cast a smile, Across your face for a while, I have come to this sound conclusion, That my rebellion was perhaps partial delusion, But I, like you have my own soul, My sea of thoughts, And I see you stand on the shore, Worried that the boat may capsize, And I might be cast aside, By violent tide, You hold my hand and keep me near, For you fear my fear, And you wish to be the difference, I can argue and I can fight But I cant deny, As I sit here and write, In the early morning light, I know you are closer to me than my self, I have learnt to love you in a different way, There is so much more that I could say, But I want you to know this first, With the warmth of you embrace, Your keenness and understanding, With your help at unhanding; Lifes beautiful mysteries, I ask no more for I have it all, The all you gave me, Walk with me as we discover, The world as we both see, The possibilities across this universe, Let us not close our minds, Help me find The million answers I look for, I seek love and I seek honor, Grant me your love and your ardor, And most of all; Your friendshipmy father.
